Forgery
QUESTION ______ Was the document dated DATE forged? A document is forged if a person signs the document so that it purports to be the act of another who did not authorize the act. Answer “Yes” or “No.” Answer: _______________ COMMENT Source. See In re Estate of Flores , 76 S.W.3d 624, 630 (Tex. App.—Corpus Christi–Edinburg 2002, no pet.) (in context of will contest, stating that “[t]he act of forgery is defined as altering, making, completing, executing, or authenticating a writ ing so that it purports to be the act of another who did not authorize that act”). See also Tex. Penal Code §32.21(a); Parker v. State , 985 S.W.2d 460, 463 (Tex. Crim. App. 1999). Rewording.
