The parties to the agreement may by agreement determine the standards by which the performance of the obligation of good faith is to be measured if such standards are not manifestly unreasonable. Tex. UCC §1.302(b). The Committee is not aware of any Texas case supporting a departure from the language of section 1.302(b) (formerly section 1.102(c)). Good and workmanlike manner. In some cases involving construction, repairs, and some services, there is an obligation to perform in a good and workmanlike man ner.
